I called Precision Garage Door Service for a tune up because the action parts were very noisy and a bit jerky. Daniel Flores, Technician was not only polite and solicitous, he was very knowledgeable and adept at his work. Because I have a very heavy door and the existing spring was undersized for its heft, he explained in laymen's terms how such a mismatch stressed proper functioning on almost every level. He suggested a stronger torsion spring to reduce the stress and jerking and also suggested new, nylon faced, bearing- enhanced new rollers. I took his suggestions and the difference in performance is remarkably improved. Back-office staff responsiveness to a name mistake on my account was very courteous but less than effective. The incorrect name on my account was an understandable error, but this exercise took me three attempts with three different people to make the appropriate change. I still do not have the correct name on the warranty email for the work accomplished today. Effective customer-focus at the point of service earns a five-star rating; However, simple, out-of-the-box details (correction of a customer name) handled by office staff earns a two-star rating.

A few hours before family visit - my cable snapped & spring cracked! I called - and was shockingly surprised- a human got on the call and told me someone could be there within a couple hours - sane day!!! True to statement - Daniel let me know he was in the way - showed up - pleasant- friendly- git right to it - identified and communicated what happened & how he could fix it! Having everything he needed in the truck - went to work ….completed it - communicated when done, cleaned up - just as my family arrived!! Prompt, customer focused, professional, friendly helpful experience- again - all the way round!!! Thank you!!

Good morning: We called your office on Tuesday morning reporting a broken garage door. Within the hour we heard that Daniel Flores, our technician, was on the way. Dan is friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all our questions cheerfully. Although our system was nearly 30 years old, Dan did not try to sell us anything we didn't need. The spring broke on one of our garage doors, heard a loud bang and saw cables all over the place. I booked an appointment late that night and was given an appointment the next afternoon. I had a new garage door opener installed by PGD about 1.5 years ago. A couple of days ago, the door wouldn't go down. I called and a tech was at my home to fix w/in a day. They actually offered to come earlier but i couldn't be home during that time. Less than an hour he tightened some things up and was done! And at no charge. These days it's so rare to experience good customer service but PGD does just that both when installing and a quick adjustment. Thank you
