I was kept informed of technician arrival. Daniel was pleasant, personable and professional. He discovered the problem and overlooked the entire workings. He then gave me 3 choices for the repair ( good, better & Best). All came with a warranty. And he had all the parts on his truck so he could get right to work. Upon completion, he showed me everything he did as well as the warn out parts. He insured everything was in good working order. Very satisfied with Prevision Garage Door!

Precision on the phone, was prompt in responding to a malfunction in one of my garage doors in the town of Red Hook in the Hudson Valley. Had a technician out to the garage location within 3-4 hours. The technician Daniel Flores, was the consummate professional, assessed the situation, (the spring had broken) provided me with details of the vintage of my existing garage doors (the problem door has worked without issues until that day since installation 35 years ago!), and offered multiple potential solutions. I accepted the offer and Daniel set about fixing the door, ie replacing the motor, and installing a new spring with relevant hardware, on the spot. He was fully equipped for that purpose. On the professionalism in response and installation, am very satisfied. It's a modern door mechanism, electronic remote operations etc. Really good work. Also important to note Danny Flores' attitude and demeanor was the picture of calm competence, excellent technician indeed.

I had an excellent experience with Precision. From my initial call to ask for a consultation and get a professional opinion on my concerns, through the end result, I was so impressed with all aspects of this company. Within one day of calling, I had an appointment for the following morning. Daniel came out and checked out my old garage doors and listened to my concerns. He gave me sound advice and several options to address the problems. He was never pushy and always so polite and helped me through the process of making a decision. I decided on not getting new doors right now, however, I had Daniel put in all new hardware (springs, bearing rollers, cables, pulley & bottom seal). He also installed a new opener package and lubricated everything. When completed, he went over everything with me and made sure I was comfortable operating the door (as I never had an electric door opener before). Daniel is a conscientious worker who does his job efficiently and with a smile. He also sent me some info on a few door choices in case I ever decide I want to do that in the future. Daniel Flores did a fine job. Explained and answered questions. However I was charged over $1000 for 2 extension springs, cables and pulleys. Upon a search for similar springs your charge of $220 each was highway robbery. $180 for a cable? I am fine with paying appropriate labor rate, not an issue but labor is not listed on the invoice. Am happy Daniel returned full function to the door. Precision does not list parts prices on website. Unprofessional practice to blindside customer with parts fees upon inspection knowing tech is at the residence and can do the job at that time. Cannot recommend Precision to any friends and neighbors based on non disclosure of parts charges on your website. Am pretty sure if customers saw your charges in advance they would look else where. Saw a similar BBB review re: parts charges after the fact. Shame on me for not checking BBB before calling you. Will be holding Precision to that service warranty.
