Dan was AMAZING! Not only were we able to book service easily but technician (Dan) showed up early (with permission) and was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and so professional. I called Precision Garage Door Service for a tune up because the action parts were very noisy and a bit jerky. Daniel Flores, Technician was not only polite and solicitous, he was very knowledgeable and adept at his work. Because I have a very heavy door and the existing spring was undersized for its heft, he explained in laymen's terms how such a mismatch stressed proper functioning on almost every level. He suggested a stronger torsion spring to reduce the stress and jerking and also suggested new, nylon faced, bearing- enhanced new rollers. I took his suggestions and the difference in performance is remarkably improved. Back-office staff responsiveness to a name mistake on my account was very courteous but less than effective. The incorrect name on my account was an understandable error, but this exercise took me three attempts with three different people to make the appropriate change. I still do not have the correct name on the warranty email for the work accomplished today. Effective customer-focus at the point of service earns a five-star rating; However, simple, out-of-the-box details (correction of a customer name) handled by office staff earns a two-star rating.

A few hours before family visit - my cable snapped & spring cracked! I called - and was shockingly surprised- a human got on the call and told me someone could be there within a couple hours - sane day!!! True to statement - Daniel let me know he was in the way - showed up - pleasant- friendly- git right to it - identified and communicated what happened & how he could fix it! On 5/1/26, Daniel Flores and Precision Overhead Garage Door Service came to the rescue ONCE AGAIN AND SAVED THE DAY. I say ONCE AGAIN because Dan and Precision Overhead Garage Door Service and fixed our other garage door back in Nov 2024. Because Dan did such an amazing job, I made sure to contact Precision again to fix my 2nd garage door issues, while requesting for Dan. Dan was amazing, very friendly, welcoming, sincere, and immediately assessed the situation. He assured me the issue was not the garage door itself or the garage door motor, but the hardware and springs managing and pulling. Dan explained what was causing the multiple issues, that the main spring was about to snap, and provided multiple options at different price points to have a complete overhaul of all hardware, springs, cables, pulleys, bearing rollers, etc. Dan went above and beyond the call of duty and tested everything multiple times, showed me best practices for preventative maintenance for the future, and topped off the visit by spraying oil into the pulley’s of the hardware he replaced on my other garage door 2 years ago. This company is beyond amazing! I called them for the first time for service and they were at my home within an hour. My serviceman Dan was ready to answer any of my questions and replaced the rubber seals on each of my doors and I had a key pad installed to open my doors. I was very impressed with the overall professionalism of this company. From my first telephone call to the completion of the job. The prompt service was amazing! It is unheard of these days to have a company respond immediately. Your technician,Dan was very courteous and explained everything up front and even after he finished he described what he had done. Mostly I was impressed that Dan asked if there was anything else I needed in relation to the door and how the remote worked and how I could enter the garage in case of power failure. When I had the door installed (*not by your company) I wasn't home and I was never explained any of the workings of the door. Dan went over the operation of the door and the remote. Very good job!!

Daniel was here in February to diagnose an issue with one of my garage doors. He diagnosed it and explained in a simple yet detailed way. He made recommendations and didn’t apply any pressure. He made the necessary updates to the hardware and replaced the opener. His workmanship was excellent as was his demeanor. I called back today to update my other garage door and replace the opener. Same job as last time. He came the same day I called and once again did excellent work. As an employer myself, I can easily recognize a good worker from a not so good worker. OMG…Rob was the BEST!!! He was very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He was so professional and well spoken about what needed to be done. Dan arrived on time and got right to work. New springs were installed in the time estimated. Door now appears to be working fine. My only negative is that the job was far more expensive than I expected. However, overall I would recommend Precision as a superior vendor.
