I currently live in Garfield NJ. I attended Bergen Community College and Montclair State University. I owned a tavern in NJ for almost 20 years before coming aboard at Precision. I love animals, sports, working out, and relaxing on the beach when I get the chance!

We had our garage doors installed in February and had several issues with the new guy installing it. The noise was louder than our original doors and he had to come back twice. Fast forward to months later and one of the doors would keep opening when I tried to close it. I placed a call yesterday and was told someone would call me back to set up a service appointment. No one called me so I called back today. I played phone tag and got transferred to several people. One woman tried to play up the fact the sensor is super sensitive and I felt like we were being discouraged from having a tech come out. Thankfully Rick was sent today and fixed this issue. He was knowledgeable and spent time correcting the mistakes the installer made. One of the panels was crooked, the trim was being scraped because something wasn’t done during install and the track was very noisy. Rick fixed all of this. I’m happy with the tech but feel like it’s such a hassle to get through to anyone and have them care.

Rick C. was the tech that fixed the problem. He was great, he took care of the issue i had with my garage door. Very good guy and worked very fast. He did a great job and he did it on a Sunday! You can tell when you are dealing with a good company by the people the hire... Again, i have to tell you Rick C. did a Great Job and he is a great guy.

About 7 months ago we had major work performed on both garage doors by Precision. Our experience was outstanding. On Friday 7/20 one of the safety eye wires became disconnected. It was 5:45PM and we called the office. The office answered promptly and made sure we understood what we needed to do to lower the door in a safe manner. The service person told us Rick C. would arrive Saturday between 2 & 4PM & would call 30 minutes before arrival. Rick called as promised and arrived on time. He spent time explaining what needed to be adjusted and then completed the work to our satisfaction. Rick was courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Precision Door for any and all work needed. Rick serves as an excellent example of Precision’s customer oriented philosophy.

We had two new garage doors and openers installed and couldn’t be happier! Rick was very thorough and meticulous with his work. Our original doors were over 40 years old and very noisy....these doors and openers are extremely quiet. Definitely worth the investment and would highly recommend Precision Doors of the Hudson Valley!

It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Rick Coleman this morning when he came to our home in Washingtonville, NY to assess the repairs that might be able to be done to the broken spring on one of our garage doors. Rick took the time to explain everything to me as he reviewed the situation, and then make recommendations on how our problem could be remedied. He also was very gracious about letting me call my husband and then getting on the phone and talking to him so i did not have to relay all of the information he shared. I liked your quick response to setting up an appointment. Richard was on time and very professional. The service was quick and he took the time to answer all of my questions.We had to have a new system put in (motor).He cleaned up and tested to make sure it worked. It seemed a little pricey but you get what you pay for good quality service.

I called Precision Door because they promised same day service. Unfortunately, they were completely booked. However, because they could not come the same day, they did not charge me for the service call as stated on their website. Imagine that, a business that actually keeps its promise. Rick, the service technician could not have been more courteous or professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and completed the repair, explaining what he was doing the entire time. In addition to the repair, he performed some preventive maintainance and now my garage door works as good as new. I will call Precision Door for any work that needs to be done on my garage door in the future and recommend them to my friends.

OK - just had a service call and the technician was helpful and knowledgeable and never once did I feel like I was being pressured into anything, etc.,. Ended up needing and ordering 2 new doors which will be done in a few weeks so will review that then but the service call and the technician deserve 5 stars (Rick Coleman)

Broken springs were replaced today. I am pleased with the service your company provided, from scheduling the appointment by Amber to prompt next-day service by technician Rick C.
